Atlantic Canadian Pride Flag [Double-Sided]

The Flagmaker & Print team is proud to announce a collaboration project with longtime community member Hastings! Hastings his vexillographic work recently came to the forefront with his stunning Atlantic Canadian Flag project. Hastings has undertaken a project to have his flag adopted as the official flag of the Canadian eastern provinces of New Brunswick, P.E.I, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador.

The waves represent our maritime history, the central arms have a few different pieces of symbolism. The Fleur d’Elise on the main arms represents the French-speaking population in Atlantic Canada, and the maple leaf represents Canada of course. The Loyalist Cornet represents the many loyalists who fled to Atlantic Canada during the revolutionary war and our ties to Britain. Probably most important is the field of green, which represents the celtic peoples that form the vast majority of the Atlantic Canadian population.
